I'm just playing about with my brothers computer (he said it was being slow, the idiot hadn't defragged it in 3 months). I downloaded Coretemp and Prime95 and found that his processor is running at sub 20c under load! The lowest it went too was 9c. I'm guessing theres something very wrong with one of its sensors. How accurate IS Coretemp?
Chears.
Edit: Forgot to add, Its an AM2 3200+ (orleans). The side of the case is off, it has 2 of the good silverstone fans in it and the ambient temperature of the room is no more than 10c (no central heating) so maybe it isn't so inaccurate after all. Its BIOS and all its drivers are up to date (well... they are now
)
