any1 got any good ideas of keeping dust out of ur comp. mine jus seems to fill up with the stuff. also whats the safest way of getting it off things like graphics cards etc?

Air filters do help (on intake fans) although does lower your air movement a great deal so watch the temps!

Try to keep the PC off the ground, use compressed air (blow, not suck) onto the PCBs to get stuff clean!

i second the idea of hoovering.

all other methods of stopping dust are 100 times more efford or will cost you good beer money.

Hoovering does barley anything and don't forget, there is one hella magnetic field being put out by Henry ... it can do serious damage too close to your PC!

jus took my cpu fan off n dusted the heatsink, sorted out some cables n other stuff, temps are now a whopping great 2C lower! lol

Get a wooden floor laid...get blinds instead of curtains

get some good filter grills, and wash more as most dust is made up of skin

Take one pair of standard issue womens tights and cut slightly smaller than your fan, attach to the fan with rubber bands and voila! ghetto air filters!

AF do a compressed air spary can, shifts the dust out of your case.

Other option is fan filters, either ghetto or pre made.
