Which memory

Yet another stupid question. Have heard some bad things about the Geil 6400 2Gb kits (and theyre not available at Microdirect at the mo) so am looking for an alternative around the £150 mark.

Or anything else ?
Should I be looking for 4-4-4-12 for good O/C ? Or would a 5-5-5-15 do for a more gentle O/C ?

They were all 4-4-4-12 a minute ago, and there were only 3 listed.

go for the 4-4-4-12 ones, unless there is a big saving. Quite often, the 5-5-5-12 sticks will run at 4-4-4-12 anyway. The difference isnt huge.

The OCZ with Extended volt protection are good as they are rated at stock volts but if you raise the voltage (within 2.3V[2.2V+5%] still under warranty) you will get better performance.

Only the platinum sticks have EVP i think

Not much difference really as none of them use Micron D9 ICs.
