not possible, its for TV and rented DVDs and ripping to divx will still require more processing power than the onboard mpeg2 decoders so i doubt there's much in it.

Possibly - but work it out for yourself to be sure. Look at the figures for the board on our website & then check your wattages for the components installed.

    I've run a 2.4GHz P4, 512MB DDR2700, 80GB Seagate Barra & slimline optical drive from a Casetronice 90W DC PSU.....

    Hope this helps

i gotta decent dc-dc 110W psu here im using for my epia. My house mate wants to buy the system and the case has a 180W in it but i dont use that cause its too loud. I dont really want another EPIA cause they are sooooooooo slow. Unless 512meg ram makes a HUGE difference that is.

Ultim8 - what mobo? any more details on the system

    Thx

flex atx board cant take that much more than a mini-itx p4. Also, if i disable everything i wont use.

    2.4 P4.. 65W tops?
    1.6 Duron - 50W tops??

    2.4GHZ P4=75W at full load.
    Stick of DDR RAM =10W (mini-itx = 1 DIMM slot, you'll have 2).

Wow, you're really pushing that psu if p4 = 75w since a mini-itx board is about 35W on its own.

Yeah, sure am - but I'm just fiddling, no intention of leaving the Insight board in this case with that PSU....
