    LOMAC framerate boost

    Ok chaps - here it is, instant fps boost by changing some settings in the lock-on/config/graphics.cfg file

    open the graphics cfg file,
    scroll down to LandLodDistances,
    edit the LandDay values TO,

    L01 = 8000;
    L12 = 15000;

    these are the same values as LandNight,
    you can also try changing the MFD a bit further down in the same list.

    Play around wityh the values above I;m currently set at 9000/20000

    LOMAC runs like a dream, 50+ f/ps forward cockpit view in clouds !

    This is serously the best tweak yet.

    Should do m8

    The fix renders the draw distance to the same as night time, its boosted my frame-rates during daytime by about 25%.

    You definately saved the cfg file ?

    Not much here either. A slight increase when playing normally. Above the clouds it's good (flyable.......better then it was before, trust me ). But strangely - below the overcast clouds it was terrible! Really poor framerate, and slow reactions...?

    Found the problem - 90,000 instead of 9,000....

    Runs a lot better, nice find bud

    Anyone up for a flight tomorrow sometime? I need some multiplayer goodness! Might even go make a mission up.
