If you're in single player mode, you get the credit.

Multiplayer option, you dont get a chance toi get your mates in the plane.

but in coop mode, if you get 6 bods flying in the same plane, it'll be the guy who shoots them down will get the points.
Unless you're in VEF, then the pilot is credited I think.

You can only get on it through Hyperlobby AFAIK though...
