    No 3 is a nice one - is that a museum picture? Not come across many of those apart from in the il2 modellers forum ;-)

    Id be proud to be likened in anyway to that chap, a fighter pilot who was scared of been captured so nursed his ******* about half way home after it was hit by small arms fire and then ended up ditching in the ******** never to be seen again, ended with a score of 32 iirc. Taking into account the short peroid he was seeing active combat before his unfortunate death its a real question as to what he would have gone onto in later years.

    Sorry if that borked your quiz Skii but he is one of my fav FPilots of WW2

    Right have put in an entry with some rather wild guesses. Number 7 is my favourit aircraft, have a great video about it and go yearly to pay homage. Also aa friends dad from years ago worked on it, was an incredible bit of engineering.
