Yes, I'm using no edge limiting, and have slowed my mouse speed right down, but I'm still finding lots of drift, keeping a centred viewpoint is difficult, even with a very still head.
Changing the setting to mouseUse=1 seems to have limited the head POV movement with Freelook and mouse to a 180 degree forward facing arc - so unable to check six etc. The same problem doesn't occur with the hat switch.
I've changed it back to mouseUse=2 again, and think I will stick to the hat switch for now, at least until these bugs are ironed out in the later releases.
'Make mine a Spitfire, Landlord!'
woohoo just got so as i have FULL movement even in F2 viewing mode ,and its relativly stable when returning to centre
the setting which did it was in the cfg file
# default edge limiting mode
mode = 0 (was 1 i changed to 0)
if the thing doesnt centre properly just nudge ur hat to get it back on centre
weird - I just checked my default edge limiting mode and it was already set to 0 I changed it to 1 to see what would happen, no change.Originally Posted by da_ging

i had a play with 0008 last night and the sensetivity slider worked a treat ,only problem i have is not being able to get it to go back to the centre properly i have to use the hat to correct it
Lowe.. you still using this well?
Yeah I use it for general flying stuff and dogfights. Tis a little sensitive for checking out SAMs and the like, but it's useful none the less.
how can u look to your 9 , 3 o clock? surly when u move your head you cant see your monitor anymore ?

It's pretty sensitive mate. Look over to the right hand side of the screen and keep your head there and it'll pan all the way around.
all i can say is if u guys get 1/5 of what i get outa me track ir its worth it best 80 qwid ive spent
