Seems we are getting 7 days free play because of the poor beta release. Unexpected, the whole idea of a beta is to find problems, but I'm not going to complain :)
Yeah that is definitly a decent present for the poor open beta we had..... btw if anyone wants to come on karak-hirn server...order.... im in a guild The Sylvan Blades and will be named Cypher246/Cypherbob or CypherDave
Well when joining servers you can see ratio of players on the servers so there is some immediate knowledge of what you are getting into. Even on beta which was seemingly only the individual server for PVP i was getting a game in sub 2minutes.Quote:

Looking at the min specs it will not run on my computer :( So seems it was a moot point.
The official website says:
"A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 " but then below that says the ati x800 is supported. Now I\'m using the x800 and it does not do shader 2.0...
It probably goes to show that companies use open beta's to allow people a sneak preview, get their taste buds watering and get them tempted into paying for the game, rather than to find bugs or stress test the server.Quote:

They are offering EU open beta 7 days compensation as they totally screwed up the start of the open beta. Its do this or face possible court action as is was advertised that you would get an open beta slot. GOA are a complete bunch of idiots that are trying to keep their customers happy. Same thing happened with WoW launch in europe, we all got free days play because they didn't think so many people would try and create an account on day 1.Quote:

I still have the official torrent (that the horrible downloader app uses) which should have been flying pretty much, especially if you're comfortable with the setup of a bittorrent client. Let me know if you want it and I'll upload it somewhere for you.
I can't get passed the mythic patcher after creating a trial account, 3 hours downloading and x hours attempting to login/reset password etc.. What a complete farse. Any ideas why the mythic patcher won't accept my login credentials?

Although, IMO, you could argue the release is a beta :p
Make a new trial account, and at each step, make absolutely sure it's a trial account you're making.
You can make a trial account, and a normal account, with very little difference to the process. The main difference is that only the trial account comes with the trial (yes, you can make an account with no trial, if you don't want to play for free).
Are you using the US or EU client? Only the relevant set of credentials would work with each client (being that there are EU and US authent servers)
I wouldn't bother. Its become a sub WoW grind fest with nobody playing it! Shame really, the earlier levels are fun but you can get to tier 4 quite quickly, even not playing very often and then its just poor.
