My opinion:
I really think Warhammer Online will be the best alternative for WoW there is. It looks really cool, and with great improvements. A few thinks I dont like so far is the cinematics (htØtp://wwØw.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ7x9ieXr5M). It really looks like a bummer compared to the WoW cinematics - even the 3 year old one.

Nice post :) I've seen a couple of the vids already. Really looking forward to this game, keeping an eye on the progress and hoping I get my beta key when they beta starts back up in Dec :)

My only concern about Warhammer is it looks very similar to WOW and I stopped playing that because I could not commit the hours of gameplay required.
I am going to give Conan a whizz to see how that goes but keep an eye on WHO.

The thing is Warhammer online doesnt look much different to wow which has been out for nearly 4 years now. Other game genre`s have improved in graphics by a huge amount in that time surely you`d think that a new MMO coming out now would want to be competing graphically with games coming out at the same and not mimmicking the graphics of a 4 yr old game.
Dont get me wrong Warhammer online has some amazing ideas that could potentially change the way MMO games are made from now on its just a shame that the way it looks didnt seem to be high on the list.
While the graphics in WAR do have a certain similarity to WOW the stylisation is very definitely Games Workshop. On top of that they've been massively improved for the current patch, and have been steadily improving over the last couple of months.
What you have to bear in mind also is that WAR is still far from completed - by my estimation you're looking at around 4-5 months before it sees the light of day. They're working on the engine and other core aspects of the game and I'd expect to see the shiny shiny stuff added around public beta.
anyone beta testing the eu version, wisper crom or alkork in game :D
