    Joystick recommendations?

I haven't played IL2 yet but I'm hoping to buy it very soon. From reviews it seems to be THE combat flight sim, yes?

Main question: I presume I'll need a joystick to play this game and if so, can you guys recommend a make/model. Not too expensive please, I've got very limited funds.

Secondly, as I can't afford a directX9/AGP 8X graphics card I'll have to stick with my Ti4600 for quite a while yet. Will this be a limiting factor with IL2?

I shoulda read Deckard's 'Got Some Stick' sticky above, before I posted! Lots of good info. But yeah, looks like I'll get a Saitek Cyborg in one form or another.

Would you recommend buying and playing the original IL-2 first, or just go straight for 'Forgotten Battles'?

Go straight for forgotten battles, no real point in playing the first if you have that.
