Was involved in a demonstration and now know what to look for and as a host how to implement some measures to conter effect it.

tbh, cba with cheating sods, if I get shot down, I get shot down... that's the way the game goes. If the guy gets me cos he's better than me, then I'll just try and be better than him next time and learn from the experience.

The ONLY time I've ever used a cheat in a game is when I've completed it and just want to get to a bit I want to play again. (or, in the case of reviewing Halo, I want to get the whole horrible experience over with ;))

I've NEVER cheated in online games... there's no point. These people who have to cheat are sad little sods who don't realise that this IS just a game, nothing more than an involving bit of escapism.

The satisfaction of a kill from cheating can only be a fraction of the satisfaction of a genuine honest kill. And so what if it means that in the end their sides achieves a win in VEF, either for the mission or the whole war? Makes no odds to me, I'll still have to get up for work in the morning, I'll still have to cook dinner in the evening, I'll still play the next version an IL2 online war. This isn't life or death, it's just a game. Cheating to win it is futile and ultimately pointless as the main enjoyment of the game is beating your opponenet on the merits of your own skill, not on how good you are at downloading a hack.

Yeah, getting past the damn spyware so I can run my hacks is a pain... just finalising the zoom sight which trig has been testing for me....

and back in the real world... Just been busy with life and all that... any spare time has either been used up playing review copies of games or writing about them... things look like calming down in a week or two though.

Hopefully I'll be up for the fight night tomoz, my calendar is looking clear!
