    Re: EVE-Online

So tempted to actually join RvB, really don't play these days as I can't get in to anything... I dunno why I struggle so much to play a game I love. I guess because I don't have the time right now to invest hours per evening to do anything.

Me and a couple of other people are doing a highsec -> nullsec suicide run soon if you fancy it Allen

We will be returning to a clone at the end of it. Probably an interceptor roam.

    Re: EVE-Online

Sounds like fun. Are Ekchu still going strong in the WH?

I have a new character these days, trying out the Minmatar side of things whilst Allen Jameson specs up for cross-training. "Claustrophobic Sting" is her name.

Actually, my sub for Allen and Nella ran out yesterday, but Sting is good for a few weeks yet, might wait to resub as a bit short on cash this month.

    Re: EVE-Online

Nah, most of the ekchu lot have headed to 0.0 for the moment.

I didn't as I barely had enough time for the WH, never mind null. Null also isn't my favourite place and there are a few other things I want to try first.

Been messing about in lowsec the last few nights getting the feel for it again. Lots has changed

Well Ekchu has just evicted a few members of 'Goonswarm' from the hole they were farming

I've also finally set up a group for people who are not in Ekchu and want forum access, so I'll add you and Flash later on Jay What are you guys doing these days? If it's some of the indy stuff, that could be useful for us selling our salvage

You wanna be careful with those Goons, they are nasty pieces of work...

I resubbed to get my character name on the statue as well, plus it was only like £7 or something! Haven't really done much though, only really able to put time in at the weekends. I will join Ekchu public channel and say hi at some point.

I'll join the channel, currently based in hi-sec dec'cing corps and either forcing them to surrender and they close corps or pay a fee and we will end the war. And actively bounty hunting, popped a Proteus for 1 mill isk killright worth 600+m fittings .

Look me up if your wanting to roam or that, "Kortec"

    Re: EVE-Online

Every time someone bumps this post I re-subscribe... I swear, you are CCP employees in secret doing this knowingly!

However, I actually had fun last night doing a couple of hi-sec missions, haven't done them in years but my trusty Tengu hasn't lost it's touch. And this MTU, wow, what a device! I might actually consider dropping the second account now, because I don't need it to mop up the goods anymore. Well, maybe to salvage, but that's it.

How is life in Ekchu? Popped on the public channel last night and said hi, but I don't think anyone I know was online (unless you are playing with new characters). You still in a WH?

Ooh, I did get a free customisation for my characters though, Allen and Nella are now looking nice and shiny new! LOL...

    Re: EVE-Online

We left the WH recently and I think most people have gone on leave for a bit. Some were just burnt out, others don't have the time.

I exact in a month or two we'll all be back

Always fancied this - but is it worth starting from so far behind everyone else or will it be a shower of bloody noses for months on end. Not sure I could stick with that.

There is no such thing as being behind as such in Eve. It's a game based on the understanding (and exploitation) of mechanics.

    http://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments...rt_eve_online/

I used to have a partner which played. In her first week she trained one of the most basic ships in the game (Frigate) and lit a cyno (beacon) which huge ships can jump to. It caused a fight which lasted for over an hour and tons of destruction. Two huge alliances were involved and it was featured on some news sites at the time.

Bigger is not better in Eve. SP does not make you skillful. It just limits your ability to fly certain things.

    Re: EVE-Online

I re-subbed a couple months ago after a 4-5 year break, man it was basically relearning the game again.

I spend more or less all my time in Frigate sized ships and anyone with less than a months training would be able to fly most of the stuff I do

Joined E-Uni shortly after rejoining and that was prob the best thing I've done, there has been so many fun noob roams to keep me going. Was very drunk on Friday night during one of our nullsec deployments...

    Friday 3.03b Killed / 0.7b Lost!

In game characters are Infinite Abyss and Silent Void if anyone wants to add me

    https://secure.eveonline.com/trial/?...9&action=buddy

Use that link of mine if you've not already signed up. It'll give you 21 days for free (not 14) and if you pay for a full account, it'll give me a PLEX (which is an in game item which will give the user a month)

The idea is that people who you refer and continue to play will give the inviter an incentive to help and recruit people. However, if you use my link, I will send the PLEX to you, which you can use for another free month or sell for in game currency (ISK), It would be enough to set you up for a very long time.
