Long annoying and depressing story which, in a nutshell, ended up being a large corporate theft/fraud. Basically the guys account wasn't hacked, he simply left clutching several billions of our stuff.

Git, surprisingly common though. Happened to one of our founders, previous corp. Hence ours is tightly controlled. 4 people have access to the expensive stuff. Of which I'm the only one who isn't a long term eve or RL friend of the founder. So we're pretty safe, nothing is perfect though. Greed can get to anyone. Good luck rebuilding

I cant play at the moment. Motherboard died(again ). Corp has been wardec'd by a one man corp(former Tri guy), who is actually more of a threat than the last lot. He already has more kills than they did. (2 frigs and a scorp on a rescue mission, succeeded, but lost the ship). Bloody station camper, and annoyingly good at it.

Ohhh, why do I get the feeling that undocking will present you with a screen of reds that aren't in your race?

Though they have dropped an entire region right on our doorstep, not seen a proper map yet, but I suspect it's going to ruin our tactical position(very defensible at the mo, one way in and an escape route not many enemies would follow us into).

I would think they have to ruin the Caldari tactical position - there is just so many Caldari atm (me too)

Yeah we are the largest race by a big margin, but they do grow us in tubes afterall

Haha. Just brought my first one.....then forgot one of the skills needed for cruise missiles
Only 2 days left till I can fit it with the cruises now. Have fitted some torps with Navy class warheads....512+ damage per missile atm. Friggin crazyness.

Thats when I can get close enough to launch them though

My understanding of it is that the low-sec space (0.1-0.4) can be controlled by a particular faction. This is determined by our actions, either by killing each other, or by performing various things (missions mainly I think). What I don't see (or rather, read) is what benefit there is having your faction in control.

I have one too, I managed to get the range up (skills aren't too great) to 150Km, I think my targeting range is around 90km. But the missiles take absolutely ages to hit anything. The next round has fired off before the other ones have landed. Seige missiles are in order

Siege Missiles (aka Torpedoes) are half as fast; only going 1500m/s instead of cruise missiles which go 3750m/s. I think you'll find Sentries are FTW!

Yeah, just to pass me by until cruise is skilled up.

But for some reason they only seem to be doing damage in the 1xx range, not the 5xx which they should be. Even when using the correct type against factions :s
