    Re: EVE-Online

It might be me but I'm getting a bit fed up of never finding targets.

I got fed up of doing mission after mission so joined a pvp corp and moved out to lowsec / 0.0. But even with 2 wardecs on biggish empire pvp corps I've spent entire evenings just flying around trying to find 1 or 2 people to fight... rather than 10+

Plus sitting staring at "skill training" is irritating.

Is it my fault for zooming around in a rifter, or plodding along in a cane?

Nope, I personally think that's the problem with Eve. You never find a 1v1/2v2 fight. It's always who has more numbers, and one side won't engage until they have the numbers to win, in which case the other side will just run.

Yup, thats Eve - its designed for multi PvP really. 1v1 / 2v2 sucks in it

Sorry I haven't been on much this week (and last) I have had bad head aches so I set a long skill and am sitting it out until they go away.

    Re: EVE-Online

Chuck - what the hecks going on with BBK?

All I've understood so far is that someone split up with someone, there was some money taken but a lot has been returned, a bunch of people have left....and the chat has been a bit hostile in some places.

No one wants to run missions (to get my standing up in Ibura)...I've never done a PvP battle and no one seems interested. I don't have the skills to mine, so I can't join in with that.

In all honesty, apart from the occasional chat in the corp channel (which rarely relates to EvE), I've noticed no difference since being in BBK compared to a NPC Corp
No one just seems to want to help us newcomers to the Corp and the new forum Jay has set up has gone totally unused *shrug*

    Re: EVE-Online

I posted a corp mail asking the same question a few days ago... no reply.

I really hope this hasn't gone belly up on us as I have made a big leap from Gallente space and Agents to Caldari

The good news is I just brok the 4,000,000 still point mark

    Re: EVE-Online

Sorry guys as I mentioned a while back I don't have much time to dedicate to EVE at the mo. Same can be said for quite a few of the corp unfortunately. Hopefully this will change.

The split-up you mention was between our CEO(bear in mind she moved from UK back to US for this guy) and one of our most experienced directors. So there was a kerfuffle about that, leaving a rather large power vacuum and lots of confusion. I don't know all the details, sorry.

I'll be on tonight. Trying to figure it out and be running some missions. I really don't blame you guys for being less than impressed, when I first made the offer on these forums BBK was rapidly growing and rock solid, now it seems to be faltering and I'm not even around to try and sort it

    Re: EVE-Online

Don't worry... I don't in any way think you are to blame for any of this! I am still happy to be a member if there is a future in the corp.

I think the FW caused a bit of unrest

I didn't take it as a dig at all, don't worry. Just wish I had the time to fix it.

Well while I do like the game I'm not going to renew my subscription.

I've spent more time tinkering with skill plans than flying.

EvE is really a PvP game, not a PvE
