I spoke to Belamont last night and he doesn't know whats happening with the corp either. I just can't keep up with things For example, I just logged in and we are going to be in the militia within 24 hours. No previous corp mails or anything - It's not that I don't mind being in the militia, but there is just no communication within the corp. As a newbie there is many things I'm confused about without having to try and understand what the heck is happening within the corp itself

That and I still haven't run a mission / done anything with any other corp members despite asking

I'll be back at some point when / if things have settled. At the moment there is no advantage to being in the corp as I get taxed on my kills (I mainly do mission running) and the added worry about being shot at in space.
Bela said he will keep me informed about what him and Side and doing, so may follow them, I'm totally undecided at the moment. Getting a bit disheartened with the game currently
    BBK that corp near torrinos?

Near torrinos yup, we've had 2 wars. 1 with spazzz; decent individual pilots, but horribly organised and overly talkative, which led to us having a good lists of members(gotta love adding them to the buddy list), alts, timezones, shiptypes etc.

Then some one man corp; solo-mega station hugger, actually did more damage to us than spazz. Me and my navy-thron were away from eve blissfully unaware, oops

    Which one were you?

You did far more damage to us than the previous war (32member 'merc' corp ). Biggest kill they got was an assault frig . When we were fielding 10+ BS and not being shy with the good stuff(faction/T2). Pretty sure you got a couple of BS, both apparently caught off station(this is what happens when you have no FC).

Shame about the Spazz war, they were so cheap and smacky that no-one could be bothered when you dec'd us. Sucked a lot of life out the corp even though we won. You had the perfect tactics for empire wars, station hugging is cheap(do it myself, but still wish they'd fix it) but it works well, and barring a mistake on your part you just wont lose the ship in the 30seconds it takes to disengage.

Ah well no more EVE for me until AWU5 is finished and I re-activate

I have given in, I am now training for Caldari ships. Currently only on frigates but have the Cruiser skill book waiting. Went on a spending spree, also have the salvaging skill book. They where all at my station and the best price so I just grabbed them while I could.

    Re: EVE-Online

I might look at getting back into this properly after playing WoW for far too long! The problem with WoW is, the only thing that interests me is raiding, and due to my work schedule I can't always make raid nights so no guild wants me. However, with EVE, I can play when I like and still progress my chars. The only problem is finding a good corp, it's difficult without much PvP experience and only 2 chars with about 5m SP, however, one is a pretty good miner/refiner and the other is pretty good in combat.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Re: EVE-Online

Reactivated both my accounts this evening thinking I could get back into this, was looking forward to it. Started training where I left off, looking around at my items everywhere to see what I have and decide to move it all closer and get rid of some unwanted stuff. So I start flying around and picking stuff up, one location I jumped through was a 0.4 (the alternative was an extra 20 jumps or so) and I though it wouldn't be a problem with the new warp to 0km option. So I enter the system and there's 3 gate campers. Not really many options, so I decide to try and warp to the next gate and lo and behold, about 5 second later I was in my pod. My Vexor (uninsured as I forgot to check after not playing for such a long time) lost, all it's T2 equipment lost, all T2 drones lost and my cargo lost...

Barely 2 hours into playing and I wanna give up already. What's the point with jack asses like this about? It wasn't even what I thought was a busy region! Is it this bad everywhere? Have I made a HUGE mistake in paying for 2 accounts for the month if this is what I have to put up with now?

    Re: EVE-Online

    Where were you?

Low sec is low sec... the same thing happened to me with my Thorax, it was about 6 hours old jumped into 0.4 and 4 campers had me. I now only make trips in high sec and if I am carring cargo then I deffo only use high sec.

I have a load of stuff stuck in an area where bob are ganking in high sec. Not worth trying to get to them so I will have to just wait or write it all off.

Don't get too down. I came back much stronger and I was podded! PM me your ingame name and i'll add you to my buddy list.

    Re: EVE-Online

Don't get too down after all it's only a game i know easy said isk takes ages to make but if you find the right corp to help you work out what you need to do i.e. skills then you will be able to gain great experence and find the game works better for you.

I've been in two alliances both are very different and have learned new things from both alliances and corps.

Lost my mission running Navy Raven to a NOS'ing warp-scrambling swine the other day. 400 mill ship + about 80-100 mill T2 fittings + 200 mill bribe to get him to stop shooting (which he didn't even when I gave it to him ......)

Still playing and re-building up again - but I admit I did feel the same way as you at that point!

Stick with it - it's worth it
