Your best bet is to join our public channel EKCHU-PUB say ho to the chaps etc
For the next week or so we will be caning missions in Ordion its a fair way from essense about 32 jumps but its safe space all the way so auto pilot and a cuppa does it for me.
We will then be spending a week (Ish) in AAS in syndicate 0.0 looking for people to blow up
If interested in joining after a chat we like to get Hexus members onboard

Just been watching some videos of the alliance tourney on Eve-files again - its ace. Does anyone know when it all kicks off again?

Nice link. Been spending the afternoon watching some matches whilst mining in the background (bloody Materials for Preparation missions). I wish PvP in Eve was generally like that, rather than who has the most ships, or hiding when a group appears in local. Not to mention the boredom of POS warfare...
Was chatting about the 'death of solo PvP' in the forums, things seem to have changed an awful lot. Consensus was it died in about 2006 (which is before I started playing) Most of my experience of PvP has been empire wars, FW and low sec and not much in 0.0 so I probably have a slightly skewed perpective.
Empire wars are quite fun, particularly if you have decent fleet sizes. In low sec gangs there seem to be more cap ships waiting to drop on you at gate camps etc which mean things get unbalanced very quickly. I played FW a while but found the quality of FCing and general organisation and discipline of the fleets to be a bit haphazard and annoying.
I guess the alliance tournament is so great because the battles have an enforced balance to them, a situation which rarely prevails in the normal game.

I have to mooch round a lot of systems to find any chance of solo pvp....It can be done but theres a lot of gang dodging needs to be done.
