Yes, you've seen Hexus is a forum with some discussion on EVE (via a search engine presumably) - now take your time to join in the community before asking people to click on a url they don't know much about. Then when it is time to ask for feedback, explain very carefully and with detail exactly what the site aims to do and what it'll be requiring from the user visiting it. Describing it as a database collection of blueprints with a searchable front-end (or whatever) is infinitely less suspicious than saying you host 'profit tools'.

    Hope that helps

Just got an email for a 10 day re-activation free of charge so I could be very tempted to jump back into EVE and forget WAR for now.
Our corp has quite a few HEXUS members (Me, Dak, Gerrard, Jay, one of Zaks mates, Paulm (from Scan) + others) and we are good friends with Chuckskulls corp too.

I honestly would have quit this game long ago if it wasn't for the help I had off Dak and Chuckskull. It's a very complex game but having played most other MMOs (including WoW), nothing comes close to the feeling of achievement with Eve.
It's also the most sociable game by far IMO. Sure, forming a guild and doing raids together is one thing, but huge fleets with intel being given across multiple solar systems is another. You make a mistake with that intel and the chances are you're going to die....oh and dieing doesn't mean you start at a graveyard and make your way back to the battle, dying in Eve hurts....a lot....You loose your ship, its fittings and if you're unlucky your pod too (which means those expensive implants just went bye bye).

Anyway, if any of you guys need or want help in Eve, you're more than welcome to join us lot. Quite a few in our corp are members who have been trained up by the more wise guys from scratch. We have an incredible loyal and tight set of people which makes the game so much more enjoyable. If someone shouts they are under attack you can be sure that every corp member in space is now warping to that member to serve a dish of whoop ass out

We'll take you out on fleet fights, show you how to PvP / mine / run missions / whatever you want. Chances are if you're new, we'll sort you out with ships and modules too.

Give any of the guys listed above a shout if you want to join us

Just came across this...how times change eh?

We pretty much have all the members you mentioned playing several times a week, a POS in 0.0, fighting daily and on voice having a laugh almost every night

It really turned out GOOD didn't it?

    Re: EVE-Online

yes, I have just moved to 0.0 with Agent and the corp. It was good fun last night, 30 strong fleet racing across billions of miles chasing war targets, ratting against BS, taking huge amounts of agro and waching the light show, fighting rats off the gates, camping stations in highsec....

0.0 is by far the most fun part of EVE, but you have to think about every move you make, scout ahead, ask for intel before you jump. Even 5 jumps is hard work.

If anyone wants to join us I am more than willing to throw some ISK their way to get them started and as Agent said you can come out on some fleet stuff and take out some of the BattleShip rats, they are big and nasty but work over 1Mil ISK each normally.

See, this is exactly the type of corp I've been looking for, I didn't realise you guys were recruiting... Will have to get in touch as I'm still getting bored with WoW, got my Druid up to 80 and just realise that the grind is starting again. Plus I get bored not doing anything in WoW. EVE I never get the chance coz I could be checking the market, playing with EFT, setting up some skill plans in EVEMon etc.

Plus the whole raid thing in WoW is not really available to me due to my terrible shift work. Even the more casual guilds of 2-3 raids per week are out as I can't say I will be there or stay the whole evening. So EVE suits me better in that way, I just need to find a good home for my new chars.

I need to check this with Dak, but AFAIK we are not "actively" recruiting at the moment.

The exception to this (and always has been) HEXUS members and people who directly know others in the corp. Certainly the ones that have been around the forums for so long

The only real "requirement" we have is that you are able to use voice. This is purely because in 0.0, no voice = dead.

I'm "ChaseTheLasers" (in game), known simply as 'Chase' to everyone

    Re: EVE-Online

Haha, just found out I can log on to EVE using LogMeIn. There's no refresh rate of the application apart from a 1 inch square around the cursor so it's certainly not playable, but I can use it to change skills at least!

And thanks Agent, I think I've spoken to you before in game as Lady Shiver when I was briefly in BBK. A Corp with more members based in UK timezones might be what I need, but I understand if you're not recruiting. Am currently working on missions with Caldari and Amarr, up to level 3 at the moment. Use an alt for salvaging and looting etc. Would love to experience 0.0 and get some better advise of fittings and skills etc.

As I said - HEXUS members and direct friends of members have always been welcome
We mission run in Amarr Space and have Level 5 agent access, along with corp hangers and plenty of stuff I won't post on here (you never know who's watching).

You're more than welcome to come and try us out if you wish

    Re: EVE-Online

As long as you haven't run missions for the Sisters of Eve Corp (ignore the Sisters of Eve Faction, which you will have standings of some sort with), then you can get access to jump clones as well since the corp has >8.00 standings with them.
