Where about are you guys atm?, it looks like we might be "looking for a change" (I'll go into more details in game - don't know who's reading the forums ) at some point in the future.

We live in Providence at the moment, part of an alliance called Fidelas Constans.

Providence operates under NRDS(Not Red Don't Shoot). With who and what's red decided by CVA. Anyone committing piracy, breaching NRDS or generally being a pain goes red. They maintain an extensive KOS list. You are expected to maintain NRDS in all space, or risk going red, which is the one thing most people don't like, but compared to what most large alliances expect from people living in their space it's a pretty small price. Then again most large 0.0 NBSI alliances are red. So there's not really a shortage of targets, and of course, if someone shoots you first then go nuts.

It's quite different to most 0.0, everyone is welcome and it is quite crowded in some systems. There are Outposts everywhere. A total of nearly 30 in that one region now I believe. Ratting isn't brilliant, they max out about 1.2mil. It is however relatively safe, with almost any large fleets being blobbed out of existence very quickly, the vast majority of reds fly cloaker hac's in 2-3man gangs to avoid this and hit and run. They do this exceptionally well mind you. Red's very rarely deploy caps due to fear of the 'Provi-Blob'. -A- being the one alliance brave enough on a regular basis, even then it's a nano titan fit to DD and warp+cloak up ASAP. Though -A- haven't been coming to play recently due to goons/bob etc.

If you're looking for somewhere chilled to rat, build up strength and get some occasional pew pew then it's great. You can go roaming around the nearby lowsec or down into catch for more pew pew. Lot of people slag off CVA and NRDS, but the fact of the matter is, they've held the place for 5 years without to much problem.

I am seriously considering going back to eve now but just need a quick question answering if anyone can help

I currently have a Caldari fighter with about 6 months game time in on it but I am considering of rolling a completely new Char so I can focus on industry, mining and generally being a transporter smuggling large amounts across the universe.

Firstly is it possible to delete the Caldari Char and create a whole new char or do I have to create another account, secondly what's the best race to go for with the basic skills to carry out what I am wanting to do?

You can have 3 different toons on one account. In the char selection screen, you'll see two empty boxes on the left. Click one and you'll go to the toon creation screen. So you don't need to delete your caldari toon to create another.

The character creation process is completely changed in apocrypha. You now start with 50k SP, but you get double training speed up to 1.6mil SP and two free remaps(changing your attributes). So you can now choose whatever race you feel like and customise it yourself.

Gallente and Amarr have the best T1 Haulers. Due to being armour tankers you can just fill up all those lovely lows with Cargo Expander II's. Gallente's Iteron V usually being most peoples choice.

Thanks for the info, it's been well over 18 months since I last played and I was only on for 6 months then and took things slowly. Will have a look at this later tonight when I get in and see what happens I will probably end up deleting the other Character anyway as I will only have time to focus on one character at the moment.

Not been playing myself. Got this new game called Life, it's a total grind, not to fun, quitting is really messy too.

Should be very close to my capital by the time I get back though, just a massive grind in store to pay for dread/carrier/cap ship books, got all the cap mods and jump skills already at least.
