My alt is quite close to cap ships really, but flying them and fitting them correctly are 2 very different things

    Re: EVE-Online

I will be in the orca in 2 days, thats a sub cap I suppose.

The new scanning system is pretty good, the old way made me cry!

I will be posting up some screen shots and maybe a short video of a wormhole some time today.

    Re: EVE-Online

    exactly

It really was more like "exploration", there was no certainty that you would find a site. You could literally spend hours trying to nail a sucker with no luck.

There were also a lot less sites, but they had a much higher value. I'm often coming across sites where running a L4 mission would have netted me more

    Re: EVE-Online

yes, I also had issues with 2 sites being really close together, I got 2 sites in one go before. I also found a couple of wormholes withing 40 mins. The only issue is that scan screen is really odd, 3D map on a 2D screen gets disorientating.

me and flash put about 13mills worth of stuff in the corp hanger from sites last night though, we where up until about 4:00am

    Re: EVE-Online

Congrats on the Orca Jay, very useful ships, we've got one great on big mining ops, especially if you got a rorq too.

Never liked scanning myself, I'm of the opinion that when I want something scanned I will just shout it at the pretty ensign in the skirt ala star trek In eve it's normally one of the newer corp members. No pretty ensign's but hey at least I don't have to do it.

Still not had time to get back on properly, but I have been faithfully watching evemon 3d 7h 36m to my phoenix, shame I aint got the skillbook yet DOH. Only 5 days til carriers too. 1.5bil+ of books; going to be a grindy summer.

Did you ever find that change you were looking for agent?

    Re: EVE-Online

Well I jumped back in, signed up for a month which flew past and just bought another 6 months. It has me hooked again. Gave up on the mining char and continued with the old caldari fighter character. Coming along nicely, spend most my time on ever atm on the Samsung nc10 sorting skills and high sec mining for a bit of isk. Leave the mission running to the main pc.

    Re: EVE-Online

    We're on the war path.

I'm sure a lot of you know Isobella Star. A 9 man corp called Tyrant. Well they decided to hurl a load of sexist abuse at her in a chat. We're pretty sure they were just trying to get a response out of us. The entire alliance is prepping for war, they wont be leaving Nakri station for a while

Bit more of a response than they expected

Edit: Doing a bit of scouting and intel stuff. Came across this little gem about the guy giving the abuse; http://www.eve-tribune.com/index.php?no=2_36&page=7 One of the funniest things I've ever read.
