I'm quite confused as to what the game is about. Can you just go out getting bigger and better ships? Trade? Fight? Get a fleet of ships? Explore? PvP? Quests?

Any way to play with 2 monitors? One with the game and the other with all the menus?

If it's anything like last night I came across the issue when you use a jump gate and it ends your session and eve shuts down :/

Yup, all the above. It's designed to be a sandbox, you can do pretty much anything you want; scam, steal, be a pirate, spy, diplomat, CEO, mercenary, industrialist, build an empire, conquer space and, last and least delivery boy.

Most of the expansions simply put more toys in the sandbox

When you consider that was 15,000 then....I rarely see less than 40,000 on a evening now. That's some growth for a game like this

decided to get eve, finally! i enjoyed the last free trial from steam, but didnt get it back then as i was paying for wow. now i've ended that, eve will fill the void, so maybe i'll (eventually!) run into some hexies out there sometime!

Just make sure it isn't in low/0.0 sec
