I must admit that although being an avid miner I am finding that the lvl 4 missions I am doing are bring in the isk a lot quicker.

I still mine the odd load of Veld from a mission, but I am investing in the markets and manufacturing atm, which can take a while to pay off.

If everything sold, then including what I have in the wallet right now I would have over 600mill in my wallet - with probably another 90mill in salvage so far from missions yet to be sold, 23mill of buy orders open and around 119mill of minerals

I'm now looking to break the 1 bill mark - already very close to my first goal of a standing of 8 with Amarr

I could have probably hit a bill already, but keep on buying ships (have 2 Hulks, 2 Helios, Viator, Drake, Mrymadon etc etc)

Hexus doesn't have a public channel on EVE, but some of the EVE playing hexites are in the corp Ekchuah's Shrine Corpoeation (EKCHU) and our public channel is "EKCHUAH PUBLIC".

Feel free to join and chat with us, ask us questions etc. Don't think we're ignoring you if you don't get an immediate response, we roam a fair bit and in those situations we are likely to be concentrating on local and listening to a private voice channel.

It's easy to tell the people that haven't played the game

I love it when people drop the "Eve = Spreadsheet online" comment, Makes it easy to separate the people who just regurgitate what they have heard and not bothered to look into it

After doing cash for capsuleer 10/10 for Galante, the agent said about seeing someone in another system/station, but I didnt note it down, does anyone know who/where it is/was?

It'll be a generic direction to the closest L1 agent (more often of the same corporation).

My advise - Ignore it. Find a L1 agent that isn't over populated. What race are you? We can help a bit more with that info

Or you can come and join us for some missions where we can take you on L 1->5's without a problem

whats the best way to deal with corps? is it worth joining one so early on in the game?

I would say that it is worth joining a good corp early on, it certainly helped me. Not only can you get help in the way of isk, but the wealth of knowledge and advice that is also there is invaluable.

It’s a good idea to join a friendly trustworthy corp as soon as you can, the advice and 'other forms of help' is invaluable for newcomers to the world of EvE.

That said, since CCP the makers of EvE updated the starting tutorials its now allot easier to get into the flow of the game and you even earn some cool gear including ships running those initial introductory missions.
