    Talking The Severn Bridge

This is funny - soft of. Feel bad for the guy who crashed though. Rumour was he was a bit drunk at the time and did it for a bet.

Not being picky... bt the Severn Bridge and The CLiffton suspension bridge are totally different. Mainley the Severn Bridge Crosses the River Severn and the CSB crosses the River Avon.

Mighty impressive bridge that. Walked across it last summer. Hail to the mighty Brunnel!

TBH that must be one of the easiest to fly under!! Nutter none the less!

You're sooooo right - wrong bridge, wrong river - duh!

Feel sort of embarrased for making that mistake as I know the area very well

I dunno about it being easy to fly under. It does have a lot of space beneath it, but flying down that rocky gorge at night (I think it was night when it happened - at least it was in the version of this story I first heard), in a Vampire, in low cloud, whilst pissed, seems like a tall order to me.

Under those circumstances it would be a bit more difficult.

Give me daylight and a WW2 fighter. Sorted.
