    LOMAC Question

    Anyone have any experience running this on a PC as crap as mine?

    Do you think it would be totally unplayable, or could I get along by turning all the settings down like I do in IL-2? If so, I could probably pick up a copy tomorrow...

    No probs, medium settings, no shadows & effects lowish. It'll still look teh dogs plums though...

    No probs there dak it'll run on that easy

    Big_Al, if you wanna know for sure i can install it on my rents system for yah as its of similar spec but tbh i don't think it'll run

    Im running on an XP 2600 1 gig 3200ddr and a Rad 8500LE 64mb, this runs happy after some fiddling. Now the question, £120 on anew graphics card for this game what do I get?

    for that kinda cash a 9600xt is prolly the best bet

    It ran on my 2200 xp 1GB pc2700 and gf4ti4200 fine except ground strafing was a nono
    fps at 1-3 fps

    Fine on my nice new 9800 pro though :E

    I get about 40 fps with 2x fsaa and 8x ansio in 1280x960x32. It's more reliant on GPU than CPU, but CPU helps for sure.

    About 40 - 50 fps with 6 x AA , no AF.
