    So, they weren't particular successful then? I didn't think their planes had enough fuel to return home so they had no choice. And I would have thought they would be shot on returning and bringing dishonour to their country? I suppose those questions will be answered in the docu. I'll try to watch it if I remember.

    Very good programme.
    Very interesting, lots of archive footage and photos, interviews, and CGI.

    It was a good doc i thought, my granddad was on a British Aircraft Carrier and was Kamikazed twice he suffered burns on his back and didnt have much to say about his wartime experience but he once told my dad that it was the most terrifying experience he had encounted throughout the war.

    Is it one the bbc iplayer? The wife does not allow such things to be watched and the htpc was recording something else. I really need to get that 2nd TV card!
