Clear Skies - an EVE video with a difference...

A mix of Half Life 2 and EVE, an actual plot and acting, all put together for a 40 minute 'pilot episode' format film. Two years of my hard work culminated in this, I'm very proud of it and I hope you like it. It's a big file so there is a trailer as well if you want a taster first.

I didn't post up anything earlier as I'm a believer in doing *then* saying Wink

Yes it bends the EVE universe a bit. Yes I'm getting a website made for it (with FAQ section!). But gosh darn it I was just too excited to let it lie while waiting for those to be finished Very Happy

Watched it last night. No matter if you've never played EvE or HL2, this is a brilliant machinima
Although you won't get a few of the things in it like place names ("That ammo from Jita" ) it's well worth a watch. Very well put together. Certainly hope he does more

Not heard of any dates.

That took 2 years they said to make that, although since it was all filmed in trinity I think only a few months for the eve filming. The HL2 levels are at least made now so that will have saved a huge amount of time from the process.

wow! I do quite a bit of messing with the half-life 2 engine, EVE etc and Sony Vegas... this must have taken AGES!

There's a short 2 minute film of "out-takes". It's audio out-takes, which they then did the video for. Still funny, although there is a little bit of swearing in this one.
