I still struggle with Guildwars becuase I don't like the graphics. I like the gameplay but cannot get past the presentation.

Really? It still looks very nice to me. Prophecies is looking very dated I guess, but the newer products look quite a bit better.

Eye of the North in the Shiverpeaks looks brilliant. Snowy mountain backdrops and ice caves make the whole feeling of being there really immersive.

looks like you cannot get one without the other, Conan looks nice but the gameplay is unexciting but GuildWars looks bad (in my opinion) but the gameplay is good.

which expansion pack is the most populated one that people play?i might need some help on some missions because i just had a quick go on it and wow i missed it hehe. whats everyones guild war name?

There is only one expansion pack, Eye of the North.

what are the others then? does my character have to be level 20 in order to buy this expansion pack along with the other additional content. whats the difference between this expansion pack eye of teh north to say umm factions and nightfall?

Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall are all stand-alone games, meaning you don't have to buy anything else to play them. You can either start new characters or if you do a questline transport existing characters between them. The expansion pack requires you to have bought one of the standalone games, and I expect doesn't give you any extra character slots. It also continues the story of Prophecies.

Expansion recommends characters level 10 and above to play. You can have any of the 3 main games and the expansion. But like Kalniel said, it is more on the lines of Prophecies and sits on the Prophecies continent.

Quick rundown:
Prophecies - Original Game.
Factions - 2nd Part of "Trilogy" although doesn't really link with prophecies.
Nightfall - Story that near the end (last few missions) links in with prophecies and factions.
Eye of the North - Although it works with any of the games is really an expansion to prophecies, continuing characters and themes.

Imho Nightfall was the best campaign, easiest to solo with heroes and also had my favorite class (Dervish), I think its also the most played still although I'm not sure.

who else is still playing guild wars prothecies? would like some help one some early quests and tips on how to level up quicker. i have just started with a worrir/elementalist and i am currently lvl 6

cool thanks. i will be on tomorrow night around this time. i will pm u more details. anyways i noticed that whenever i start gw it says gw eye of the north on top of the screen. how come? i dont have the expansion pack

You get the same login screen no matter which GW packs you own as its a generic client for all of the games/packs.
