Even with a 2mbit connection running at 100% efficiency you'd still be waiting 108 seconds. McNav you running a 13.5Mbit+ connection?. because even SuperJanet for the Uni's doesn't have that much.

Soz TiG, but our Uni connection is 100mb, and it's more than likely Mav's isn't far off. Mav and I transfered a 180meg video in 4 mins between one another and the limiting factor in that was my HD speed.

It's a personal thing, making a film....hence the "in cockpit" of me in a blindpanic trying to see what's a on my 6 its what happens in my head.

Err must be pretty slow hdd, I can transfer to my xbox 700 mbytes in just over a minute, and thats on 100mbit (although not 100% efficient), so I think the limiting factor was most definitely your line.

Thats only 6mbit/s = (180*6)/240

If your hard disks are only transferring 6mbits a second I would be a little worried.
