a new mission pack for il-2 called battle over europe it gives you geman v usa mission over normandy and stuff as well as loadsa new skins etc. ill play it later and tell u what i think.

Nice isn't it? I'm looking forward to trying out some of those single player stuff soon. Neil was given a review copy for it over at Netwings and I got a chance to try it out for a bit.

As a mainly online player, I really think it comes into it's own on the dynamic multilpayer campaign based on the VEF engine _ I've hosted a couple of BOE games, just testing it out, starting with the Pacific Campaign - and it's flown pretty well.

I knocked together a screenie page for some regulars in HL to give them a taster of what it's like on the hosts side. Although VEF has been a testing ground for the multiplay dynamic campaign generator, some of the lessons learned recently in VEF have not been applied to the pack and I would expect to see a patch to it once the Aces Expansion pack has been released.

If you're in to the single player stuff.. or are of the hosting mentality - then I would say this pack is definitely worth the money
