Re: What's your SoundCard?
XFi extreme music, the one withut the X-RAM, love it, am considering getting the PCIE with XRAM next
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Well, I have an Audigy 2Zs in man rig and an Audigy LS in other rig.
They are both great cards although I think my Audigy 2Zs is a bit dodgy.
I use mine for gaming and movies.
I've heard great things about X-fi and Xonar cards; tempted but not a priority component for my system at present.
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Auzentech X-Fi Prelude.
I got it mainly for the Dolby Digital Encoding so I could use it with my surround system, However, due to Samsung being shoddy (not an isolated case unfortunately), the sound gradually goes out of sync over time (less than an hour and it's very noticable).
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Onboard FTW.
I'd be a cretin if I bought anything special given my audio setup.
Besides, onboard is very good these days, and the CPU overhead is negligible, and if you want advanced 3D effects... in software... then by all means go for it now that quad-core ain't all that expensive.

Aye Aye,
I'd go buy one though if the onboard drivers were crap though. The Realtek ones are quite gay if you use Vent and TeamSpeak because you can't adjust the mic volume through Windows.

Me too!
With Creative 5.1 speakers (that aren't set up properly)
Re: What's your SoundCard?
I have an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 in my main gaming rig... and an Asus Xonar DX (PCI-E) in the second gaming rig
But I've also still got two older gaming rigs... one of which has an Auzentech HDA X-Plosion 7.1 DTS Connect, and the other a M-Audio Revolution 7.1 ;)
I like to experiment
Re: What's your SoundCard?
SB Audigy 2ZS - awesome piece of kit.
But I'd happily settle for any of the HD onboard chips now.
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Asus Xonar D2X - Could never go back to creative after hearing the difference in clarity and using drivers where every function just works (as they should!)
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Razer AC-1 in main pc
Asonic 8768+ thingy in media pc
Re: What's your SoundCard?
Audigy2 ZS - it has had a couple of problems in my Nforce 2 mobo, IRQ conflicts, drivers not recognising its there and a couple of other things, but once its working its fantabalicious, sounds great with my home theater setup. annoys my parents, neighbours and ducks.

Re: What\'s your SoundCard?
