Few LO:MAC Questions
I used to play a few flight sim games a few yrs back (mostly eurofighter typhoon), i was just wondering how hard is it to get into LO:MAC as im basically a flight sim novice?
Also what joystick do you guys recommend? if any.
and
Will it run ok on my spec? sounds like its a system hog ;).

Lo-mac is fairly easy to get into. Have a run through the training missions, there very helpful.
Once youre satisfied with the training missions, and feel you don't need them anymore, get patched up to v1.01.
We have games usually every thursday night. We meet up on msn, and use Team speak for voice comms. I'm sure you can come along and we can give you some tips is you need help.
You're system should run it nicely m8. Have a fiddle around with the graphics options and see what you're system is capable of. I suggest starting with average settings and then working your way up.
The biggest fps hogs are: Cockpit mirrors, Water, Heat Blur (<kills it), and cockpit reflections dont help too much either :D
See you in the air soon :D

what joystick shall i get?

That depends how much money you're willing to spend.
£60/70 will get you a Saitek X45. Nothing better imo. Loads of us here have got them, and we all love them (i think :P)
£30/40 area, and youre looking for a cybord 3D or something like that. I suggest you have a look through the saitek site. give us youre favs or somehting and we'll give you advise as to which one to get.
