    Gotta say, I've got a right peach of a 9800se AIW - 425.25 core, 364.50 ddr (so, umm 730MHz ish in total) memory, NO artifacts, and I still think it'll go further

    All I need now is some decent low latency pc3200 and I can start the cpu on 400 ddr and crank it up to 3200+ speeds instead of 2800+ speeds

    you dont need fraps to show the FPS... IL2FB has an inbuilt FPS meter and loggin if u so wish...

    shift+tab (to bring up console)
    then type...

    fps START SHOW


    then hit SHIFT+TAB again to toggle console off


    the commands are:

    fps SHOW
    fps HIDE
    fps STOP
    fps LOG x (where x = time interval)
    fps START

    these can be combined...e.g.

    fps START SHOW
    fps STOP HIDE

    Having FRAPS running is only something else sapping your processing power while gaming and I only have it running when I want to record a track to avi

    not really that new Have a look through the readme files that are in your FB folder... theres a whole RACK of useful info in them...

    all that stuff about rendering forsts etc is in there.. and altitudes for superchargers etc,etc.. blah blah u name it.... well worth 10 minutes of any pilots time... view it as squadron training
