I'd be more worried about the wireless controllers. Strikes me it would be easy for someone to fire all your ammo off while you nip away to the bathroom...

I've just counted around 140 keybinds in the .ini files.

He NEVER leaves his PC for a moment at LAN's anymore....ever. He uses a colostomy bag.

Looks like this has a release date of end of September! I have pre-ordered in anticipation. IGN also have a preview up and the controls sound ok. I will have a look at the vids tonight when I get home.

Raise your hand if you've fallen for the old ctrl-e 'joke'.

I'm fairly sure tumble got me the first time. But I suppose the 2nd 3rd and very nearly 4th times I've no one to blame but myself.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Played the demo last night and was it just me or was it the demo seemed very arcade like in the controls? Even in simulation mode it seems like an arcade fighter. Not to sure whether to get the game or not now.

It was more than the pc version but it is no easy mode arcade game. The planes still stall if you try anything crazy manouvres, if you approach your attacks the wrong way you get blown out of the sky and careful throttle and general control is all required. Its not ultra-realistic but I think as good as you can expect for a console game! I am looking forward to the full game.

Yeah I gave the demo another try last night as the previous night I was playing it straight after 2 hours of coral sea on BF1943 which probably jaded the old view of the game. It's not as bad as I first thought but I think its a game I can wait for Will grab it a few months down the line.

Just gave the demo ago and that seems about right. Controls were generally very poor.
Just no way i'd pay for it when the now quite old IL2 is still many times better and Storm of war is due in the autumn.
    Quite disappointing
