Is it at all worth digging my old joystick out of the loft for the vehicle, the aircraft in particular, sections?

Well, yes and no. I can happily fly a chopper on mouse and keys with the best of them. The fixed wing aircraft though hugely benefit from a stick. I can get by on mouse and keys but hard turns are near impossible with a mouse since you keep running out of pad hehe!

my mic is pessed up atm but i can still join in the TS server and just listen and respond through text. is that ok? my pc is in my room so will most likely be using my headphones anyway if the missus's is sleeping at the time

i recognised more from Hexus in the server than IGI clan players. I see where lowe get's his teamkilling reputation from though
Still getting better, was top of the scores. All that time in Red Orchestra probably helped.
