lol, yep... first card I've had that can run the game at max everything... though with just a 2400 cpu under the bonnet the framerate can get a little choppy when the screen gets busy...

Still, 4xAA and 2xAF with defualt texture details at high, mipmapping at high, I gotta say, it looks goooorgeous!

Trig, straight up bud, I'm not kidding... goes to prove what a good GPU can do. I ahven't tried a mass Glad dogfight with this card yet, but I did it with my Ti500, 16 vs 16 and got about 3 frames a second, at medium detail settings with ground detail at minimum. But that sorta thing is gonna much more CPU intensive.

Anyway, you can see for yourself at the weekend!

go to your Il2 directory and open your conf.ini file
scroll down to the bottom where the OpenGl settings are, and change the water value to 1, and the forest to 0

save

try it again in Perfect mode

ah sweet, i'll be getting this game soon as well. I've been trying to find a decent looking screenshot all day and now i've found it. I'm sure my 9800 pro will run the game around that at 1280x960 i hope. Very nice indeed

Kezzer... ooh, didnt think about upping the resolution... those shots are just vanilla 1024x768, 32bit.

They make perfect mode more playable m8 apart from those damn palm trees on the online map, I get silky smoothness in perfect mode.

Have a play around with the values, but changing the forest values, terrain-detail and water values down should make perfect mode a keeper
