Actually yeah, that just reminded me - regarding Zak's comments about Mumble rooms.
Once the game kicked off we separated into two separate teams of three, and each had our own comms room - with only three people it worked amazingly well, really easy to know exactly who was doing what and who was going where. Then each team leader could communicate with each other via the VOIP function within ARMA, and keep it separate to our radio within Mumble.
I used to be a member of a pretty disorganised, though extremely fun to be part of, Battlefield 2 clan, so I'm well used to rubbish voice communications - usually in a competitive match you couldn't hear anything over the general rabble of "What the ....", "I swear the guy's using an aimbot", or "MUM! I'm playing in a match! No I can't have dinner now." The bits relative to the game weren't much more use to be honest though :)

Problems aside I still enjoyed it. Another PvP session gets my vote. Cheers guys.

I'm working on a PvP custom mission.
Nothing too complicated, just one side holding an island/base, another side trying to destroy it.
Oh, and if you wander off from the action zone there's independents randomly spawning to surprise you ;)

Oh I wasn't trying to go lone wolf, it's just I found a sniper rifle up at the forward base but was stuck for transport after I spawned :)
Getting a big patch coming down for Arma on steam just about now.

We're running them once every two weeks. That way we keep the interest high, and it gives us time to look into new missions etc.
Next mission night I might put my own current PvP mission up for play. :)

In theory it should be next Thursday, I/We will do our best to get the details up for tomorrow, it seems PVP is rather popular, so if Lowe can get his mission sorted, we'll most likely play that.
We'll get this sorted ASAP :)

Depends how much life gets in the way. ;)
At the moment not all that much, been uber busy and when I have been 'playing' I've been mission building rather than actually shooting at stuff. :)

For those who never played ArmA 1, on certain maps, if you TK'd a certain amount of times, you got put in a little room and had an irritating tune played in the background:

I hardly ever heard it as you had to get a negative score being pro as I am I could always afford a few TK with my high score :D
