    APC HQ Attack feedback

For those of you that have played the map, could you please give some feedback on what you liked and disliked about the map? Any bugs found etc, as well so I've got something to go on for the next version.

Did you like the weapon choice/loadout? What would you change?

What about all the bodies lying about the place? Help or hindrance?

Did you like the town itself? Would you prefer somewhere else? Bigger, smaller?

Would you like the possibility of hidden goodies around the map?

body count needs lowering I think. Not sure how you do it, but it WILL slow down the game play as they mound up

Don't be tempted to change the guns... it was a hoot with the close up stuff. I think the only option should be what you've already done.. a pistol

A couple of mountain bikes would be a laugh, but nothing powered.

And on this map I think to totally disable radar would be brilliant. Claymores might also be a good option.

I've yet to find claymores funnily enough, but don't forget your satchel charges can be used in a similar way. Egg left several booby traps in key locations after looting corpses for extras.

MTB could be a giggle, but I think I'd have to hide it somewhere or only have one. If you had respawnable ones it would make the progress from Russian to US a little too quick. However one left in the middle of the map might be a laugh

Radar can't be disabled through the mission AFAIK. Server variable.

I was thinking 1 Mountain Bike per team , left at the opening spawn point for each team, and it gets dumped where ever it gets dumped.... lose it and you gotta go get it.

Yeah, I know - but think about it a sec, the Ruskies are on the high ground. A ruskie could get on the bike on game start up and be at the APC in seconds, unlike the US team who have to climb uphill... Also you've not seen Mav's Steve McQueen impression with a satchel and a bike

    Re: APC HQ Attack feedback

v2 is now complete and I've mailed it to our server admin for inclusion. I've put a potential fix (can't test on a local server sadly) for the guns in, and also added two hidden weapons caches with 'special' weapons. There's no random possibility with these caches, because quite frankly if anyone actually finds them I'll shake your hand!

I'll give you a hint, there's one relatively close to each base...
