My character is called Rhinth and he is currently a level 2 Cleric, a friend of mine currently has a level 3 fighter/rogue, rogue's lock picking still is very useful

Re: D&D Online (Unlimited) Now Free

Well, I'm pretty annoyed. Left my PC on to update my copy of DDO - Stormreach, which I think is different to this, as it's the European edition. So I'm now downloading the Ebberon version. 2.8Gb should only take 16 hours to download. hate this place.

Looking through the forums it's changed a lot since I last played it 3 years ago. Need to learn it all over again.

Just thought, reckon I should spend £170 this month on it?

Git! Probably quicker for someone else to download it, put it on a DVD and post it to me than for me to download it... and that's with the postal strike! I got the tiered download, and it's got to the "Full Game" part, which is 4.8Gb apparently. Think it will actually take over a day for me to download that!

Thinking of rolling a Rogue/Ranger multiclass when I do eventually get on.

    Does looking interesting this.

So are people downloading the US or Euro versions then? is there a direct url link to the correct place to download from depending on which you go to, or does it resolve from your locale/IP?

Stuck at work with limited web access, cant view website so currently reading it on wiki its says it is free to play but you can pay a monthly fee to receive "VIP" status and benefits?

I will download when i get home.

Re: D&D Online (Unlimited) Now Free

    That's the right one Zak.

    American - http://www.ddo.com
    Europe - http://www.ddo-europe.com

So the link posted at the start of the thread will take you to the US download. I'm pretty sure that the if you have/got the boxed version that it's the European version.

I've started a rogue on Cannith called Caldor Xilo. I think I've downloaded enough to play the starter island only.
