    Visitor in our Hangar

Well, we had an overnight visitor in our hangar last night. Since I was the first one at work, decided to take some photos. However, I want to see whether you plane spotters can name the Make, Model, Mark and Tail Number from this one photo alone: -

I'm sure it's probably too easy. I'll put the rest of the photos up later.

I wouldn't have asked for the tail number if it wasn't pretty unique (the aircraft; not the number itself!).

The one I'm thinking of doesn't have a tail number

    Re: Visitor in our Hangar

I can vividly remember being at my grandmother's house as a youngster and hearing an almighty droning noise from outside. I ran out and saw a Spitfire and Hurricane flanking a Lancaster as they flew towards a nearby airshow.

It gave me the shivers then and still does whenever I think about it.

They went past our office for the Jubilee celebrations, prompting our german colleague to do a quite amusing "Oh No! Not again!" duck'n'cover routine.

Well, it was best place to get a side-on view of it. There was too much crap in the way on the other side.
