    Re: Operation Flaspoint Dragon Rising

Got another blast on this today gave the single player a whirl this time and a couple of extra matches in multi.

Single player is a LOT more polished than ARMA2. So if that's your bag, definitely worth a look. Lot less glitchy and a far better feel generally of being a small part of a large army. AI is pretty good, despite my guys shooting me in the back a couple of times. Least the enemy cant see through grass.

Multi is fun, you can tell the difference between those came from BF and those from ARMA and alike. Well organised squads/teams dominate. Which is good.

Anyone had a chance to play the PC and 360 versions? How different is it?

Playing through on Hardcore, keep on getting buggered taking out the SAM soldiers in the village. And the one time I got past I got munched while trying to defend the village. Got bogged down in the squad controls

You can immediately tell it's a console game, that horrid field of view for the benefit of those on TV's.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Found the menu on the 360 to be fine, no problems at all..
Have had alot of issues with AI following orders, they're pretty useless.
There is a confirmed patch incoming to rectify some bugs and possible additions, will have to see what that brings.

I'm also stuck on the last mission, the uncontrolable AI dies before I can even get to the battle and that results in mission failed.

It's a decent game, just make sure you've got friends to play co-operative with.
