...life will change as you know it if you play ArmA 2. After a seriously long wait, the first ACE 2 beta will be released. If you're not aware, ACE (Advanced Combat Environment) is an unofficial expansion and reworking of the ArmA gameplay to make it a tad more realistic, and more features. It's a huge mod that has massive community support, usually hand picking the best mods available for ArmA and combining them into one pack.

ACE to ArmA is what Champagne is for strawberries and cream. It's what got me hooked on ArmA 1 in the first place, so to say I'm excited is a slight understatement.

How serious does this make it then Lowe? I mean, ArmA is fairly realistic already... does it introduce scary stuff like wind-affected bullet trajectories? Or flat tyres on your mobile spawn point? Or pulling your groin during a mad dash for the objective? Or needing the toilet every so often?

But, windage? Yes.

Realistic wounding and first aid? Yes.

Backblast on rockets that can kill? Yes.

About another 150 guns? Yes.

Need to piddle in the field? No lol

I just gotta say this is a must-have mod. It makes Arma2 even better and will give the multi-player community a huge shot in the arm (or face).
