Yer thanks for the piccies, sadly some of us have work and can't get to nice things like this
I feel a need for a holiday coming on, Tho this would only remind me of the time i had the whole battle of britain flight come over me at 7am in the morning at 60ft when I was about 7.
I'll never forget the sound of the lancaster/hurricane and spitfire just above me coming into land prior to the airshow starting later that day.
Really lucky to see that but my Grandad was in the RAF for years in the lancaster squadron and my grandad told my dad when they were arriving and i got to see it first hand.

Glad you enjoyed those rough quality piccies.
TiG...you really should get out on a day off.....we'll drag you where ever you wanna go.
Was an ace day...and just so you know what Deckard means about "Hope the Tempest goes smoothly... see you in a year then!
" wellll.......err.....we kinda purchased a balsa model, and on the way home, Deck was sat ck seat on my Signum .
I heard a short intake of breath,,,,,,and Mrs Deckard in the front seat (navigating) sighed......and it was then that Deckard decided that perhaps Zak would like to build it on his own at home and THEN we'd fly her together.
Yeah......just like me and my Dad in the 70's.....balsa and tissue and dope and then.....
SMACK into the ground
So....I have a project...and Deck STILL aint finished his Hurricane plastic model either..oh well.......
see ya all atChristmas![]()

That, my good friend is a LINK TRAINER - I just thought. It was used for night-flying training, on instruments, hence no windows.
Yep - also known as "how to get revenge on younger cadets who pester you to let them have a go in the trainer"Originally posted by Deckard
In another of the pics you can see the controllers table with the crab on it. What you can't see is he has two button to control windspeed and direction too, just to make things even more complicated.![]()
