    Recording tracks...

I need to start doing this as I'm seeing some great stuff in-game but not catching it with screenies.

I was wondering what performance hit you guys are seeing, if any, when you're recording... and how much space does it take up? (not that it matters too much with 240gig at my disposal.. )

I don't notice a performance hit when recording if I'm not hosting - but sometimes the pings go up slightly (Bout 5-10% more). The only problem I get with it is that I never get round to watching the tracks

    no overheads mate...files are tiny

Only runs in IL-2...and THEN you use it to take screenies...

Once playing track make sure you ACTIVATE (that means push toggle switch UP) for EXTERNAL VIEWS and TIME CONTROL

Then [] brackets for Speed up and down.....and P for pause....and if you wanna see HOW you were using your hatswitch, make sure externals are OFF....cos then after watching it external, you can then watch it internal with correct head movements and you get tolearn WHERE the bugger went after he escaped.....

last but not least.....turn OFF messages to get rid of stuff onthe RIGHT of screen and to get rid of chat minimize window

Naa as Zak says files are tiny, tracks are built by relative position movement, so its dead easy to record hours and hours of footage for a small amount of disk space.
