It was in quick mission builder. 6 veteran 110's vs 1 me and 3 veteran Spitfires. The AI on the 110 is really good - pulling some quite spectacular and unpredictable moves, and not giving up. For a QMB is was quite intense. I was trying out the different planes we have in VEF at the mo against 110's to see which had the best effect. The best were, in my experience. The LaGG3 iT, the P-39, the Spitfire, the Hurricane iic. With the LaGG 3 (66) and the Yaks you might as well not bother. The machine guns are just too crappy unless you get really close and a really good bead on them, and once the ammo runs out you're in the rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish. I didn't try out the LA-5.

Ive reached pretty much same results Moby but would put the LA5 right up there nxt to P39. Its a beast if you hit them right.
