Oooh.... that looks like its been ripped outta the Enterprise!!!

btw, did anyone notice the use of an X45 throttle in Terminator 3? When they decided to run alongside the particle accelerator, just before they go in, John Connor pushes a lever forward to sping the thing up... its an X45 throttle!

Not ffb m8, but they have moved the rudder back to the twist grip on the Joystick. That will be a popluar move for those without pedals.

It was never there to start with, always been on the throttle.

I don't think that it will be, I hate twist rudders & I am not alone.

must say id prefer it to be a twist rudder as im always pressing the rudder too hard when i hit the other throttle buttons

X45 always had rudder on throttle mate, rocker bar for fingers, TBH once I got used it it i love it, like the twist on old ffb as well

Please excuse my slip by using the word "back", it was an error in my haste to post. I now realise I left the impression that it used to be on the stick...ooops, naughty Clingy .

If you look at many other Flight Sim forums you will see many ppl using a twist grip stick with a X45 throttle (or trying). I could never get used to the rudder on my X45 and I bought pedals to get over this.

Presision aerobatics with a twist rudder are very hard. I find you accidently apply rudder when you might not want it.

lol, yeah but Douf, have you SEEN the way we fly? Hitting rudder at the wrong monet is the least of our troubles...

I prefer the rudder on the throttle though. Had a Sidewinder with twisty rudder and it was ok but not brilliant.

I'll wait and get me hands on one of these in a shop somewhere before I make a decision... and I sure as hell wont be going out and getting one just cos its there... my current stick will have to give up the ghost first.

update: the twisty rudder can be locked for those (like me) that don't like them.
The stick uses Hall sensors (think Cougar plus mods).

No info on price or release date yet, I suspect it won't be for a few months anyway.
