    me and TiG tried....but I was fiddling with config file too....
    just not those bits of it!

    Water to 0 then....kk...Forest to 1 or 2....and I'll chop AA back from 6 to 2 for a trial run!

    narp... have to wait until I can get me mitts on an 8X AGP mainboard to run this in perfect...

    You 'll probably be fine on 6xAA with an ATI card m8, Forests on 2 or 3, water on 0

    I'm sure I do.... just gotta think who..... the board I've got is a bit old now tho, and I'm running relatively slow memory with an XP2100+ so I'd imagine a newer board will give me the graphics bandwidth I need to fully exploit me 9800..

    Hmmm like Trig says 8x / 4x shouldn't make any real difference, something minor like 2fps at the most.

    Aye, if said board was an Abit NF7S v2 you'd also get things like Firewire and SATA as well as DDR/FSB400 support.....
