before i hand over cash, does it have pre made configs for the saitek x52 joystick or is it as bad as il2 was for having to setup each and every control ?

Just downloaded IL2 from steam, only upto 4.09m so have grabbed the patches, what config tweaks sjhould I be running.

I don't think it does have any configs for any flight sticks, so setting up all of them is needed, although you only read need a dozen or so.

Haven't ever tried the original ILS Trig, so i can't help you mate, sorry.

Patch is out. No big difference for me, still gotta keep the settings low. Going to try turning off aero next time.

Has anyone done the mission where you transfer to Manston, and get jumped by the 109's?

No big difference for me either. Still needs to be kept on low here too, and still getting a black line in the distance which looks terrible.

Thought i might aswell give the missions a go yesterday though and just keep the settings low, but gotr a little stuck. For the life of me i can't see a 'jump to next waypoint' button to configure???
Was doing the second mission and for what seemed an age i just kept going round and round the airfield with time set to X16. It must be there though, i was tired while i was looking.

I just use the map to find the next waypoint's. It seems like you have to follow them to get a successful mission. I tried taking a detour to miss the 109s on the transfer to Manston mission, and the game acted like i hadn't landed there at all, something about arriving on a truck?!
