Well my old Cyborg force finally gave up the ghost - wouldn't auto-calibrate any
more, kept losing FFB
So
I got a new stick - An Evo
what a beauty - doesn't need any drivers (XP recognises it straight away) No FFB (I won't miss it tbh) and more buttons and adjustments than you can shake a stick at
All for 35 smackers

No resistance, one second I'm turning, slightest backpressure, and I'm tumbling like a sycamore :(

Get into the FB input settings and have a play, reduce the sensitvity near the central stick area

I've stuck the following values in the pich axis
1 3 8 15 23 32 46 62 78 100
seems much improved

Yeah, I have mine set to 0 for the first band on all axis (what IS the plural of axis?) Then I grade up to 70% by band 9 with 100% at band 10.... that way I've got nice gentle control for the main but full deflection if I want it.

7 - including 8-way POV switch and trigger, and 6 more on the base
+ throttle (although i'm not overly keen on the throttle position)
