    PC Gaming is not dead

Razer appear to have released a viral website concerning "the future of PC gaming". It has a video about consoles and why PC is superior. A countdown awaits the 26th of August.

    See the website here.

It's certainly not dead, I think that the consoles now just have a bigger share of the market

Re: PC Gaming is not dead

So a mid range laptop that's massively overpriced is going to save PC gaming, think someone in the marketing department needs a slap on the wrist tbh.

Well, it seems like the people who developed the website failed really badly.

Re: PC Gaming is not dead

    http://kotaku.com/5834795/i-cant-bel...-future-of-pcs

I found that Kotaku article quite offensive towards PC gamers. This laptop will not and cannot standarize gaming hardware. Yes, the touch keyboard is interesting but I'm certain I've seen that before. I think that the claim "I think Razer may not just save PC gaming—I think they may save Windows laptops entirely." is entire rubbish. I know that the Gawker blogs are very apple biased, but Windows laptops are not doomed? In general, hardcore gamers use a desktop PC. The laptop is used primarily for use on the move, maybe some gaming. For it's purpose, I would not (personally) spend $2800. I know someone who just bought a gaming laptop last Christmas. Now he wants a desktop.

If PC gaming is to be saved (and does it need saving?), it should be the desktop market who should be targeted. Although, I would be interested in buying that keyboard for my desktop

    Bah, I'm so cynical.

    And no SSD.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I much prefer playing FPS on the PC rather than a console.
