    I only seem to get it on BFBC2 though. As I say, I can work around it, but its a royal PITA

    I've actually never noticed the bloom as a problem; although I have never played on a console so have nothing to compare it to! I like the fact that snipers won't always have perfect vision though, because that is more like how it will be in real life!

    With bloom enabled you can get the black screen. Like playing with your eyes closed.
